New pilot boats for Turkish Straits

One of the 3 pilot boats being built by Halic Shipyard for Turkish Maritime Incorporated (TDI), has met with water yesterday and already successed at the first sea trial. The sea trials for other two will follow next week. The boat is 14,5 metres in length and has 4,2 metres beam width. |

 Erdogan indicated, ''there has been a busy tanker (oil) traffic in Turkish Etraits. Everyone should accept that it is not possible for us to live with this threat.'' |
